AT
A GLANCE
Urban Renewal is a 2-week Detoxification and
Revitalisation Wellness programme that will allow
you the opportunity to renew, repair and recharge
your mind, body and soul, and is brought to you
by Moksha Yoga and the Institute of Lifestyle
Medicine.
It is a unique and multi-dimensional programme,
using a combination of naturopathic assessment
and live blood analysis, yoga, therapeutic nutrition,
stress-reducing relaxation, breathwork and meditation,
massotherapy, self care remedies and lifestyle
coaching talks and demonstrations.
CONTENT & STRUCTURE
This programme is designed to suit the needs
of inner city working people, and can be done
as part of your normal life.
It starts on a Saturday with an introduction
and assessment day, followed by two weeks of
morning sessions running Monday to Friday. These
are hour and a quarter each of gentle yoga classes,
breathing and meditation time. Every second morning
includes 15 minutes of presentation on a particular
topic presented by a Naturopath/ lifestyle coach
who is also available for questions and monitoring.
The middle Saturday includes a series of workshop
sessions that focuses on practical nutrition,
lifestyle planning and stress management. The
programme ends with a re-assessment in which
you get an opportunity to reflect on the physical,
mental and emotional changes and insights you
have gained in this time.
You receive a journal, a manual with all detoxification
plans, additional recipes, and talks. You can
choose from three detoxification plans of varying
intensity, ranging from a mono fast, to a modified
elimination diet. You will also receive self-care
products to use as part of your package. Membership
to Moksha Yoga studio for the duration of the
programme is also included. Finally, the programme
includes a detoxification massotherapy session,
onsite at anytime during the programme by pre-booking.
Your programme is supported and run by a team
of qualified specialists. A Naturopath is on
hand for support or questions during and after
yoga sessions, and is available on a helpline
outside of class times.
Urban Renewal is not just a short-term physical
detoxification though you are likely to look
and feel 10 years younger in 2 weeks, with more
vitality, glowing skin and a clearer mind. But
beyond that it is structured to bring revitalisation
of mind, body and soul and create positive sustainable
change in your life.
