A systematic approach that leads to less time on the clock.

Power yoga optimizes two key elements in your body:

Balance:
Even if you are slightly off-balance, every running step you take forces the muscles to work harder in compensation. This is a waste of energy. You will also be taught to rebalance structural misalignments which lead to all the common runner’s pains.

Flexibility:
Tighter muscles have a limited range of motion and require more energy. Flexible muscles are more energy efficient.

Benefits:

  • More energy
  • Increased endurance
  • Less pain, more comfort
  • Less injuries
  • Quicker recovery
  • Reduced soreness

The workshop is presented by Chris Loker, owner of Moksha and marathon runner; Douglas Heel, Physiotherapist expert on Health24.co.za, qualified Kinesiologist and Acupuncturist and Jim Harrington, experienced Power Yoga teacher who’s worked extensively with athletes in Australia.

“Once you've become familiar with the sequences, the idea is to achieve improved circulation, a light and strong body and a calm mind. All of this to help us run better.”

Andy Ellis, Runner's World magazine columnist and Moksha member.
